The voltage should be at least 4V if you are using dual power supplies. In order to operate the 4 inputs, there are several steps to follow. Temperatures higher than 85°C are not recommended for operation of the analogue multiplexer. Multiplexer ics with 4 outputs are available. Suppliers are offering a 16-SOIC package.
