TPS79147DBVRG4 Description


In a tiny form, SOT23, packaging, the TPS791xx family of low-dropout (LDO)low-power linear voltage regulators offers high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), ultralow noise, quick startup, and outstanding line and load transient responses. Each member of the family has a little 1-F ceramic capacitor on the output, which makes them all stable. Thefamily produces extraordinarily low dropoutvoltages by the use of a sophisticated, exclusive BiCMOSfabrication method (e.g., 38 mV at 100 mA, TPS79147). Each device achieves quick startup speeds (about 63 s with a 0.001 F bypass capacitor) while using a very little amount of quiescent current (170 A on average). Additionally, the supply current is decreased to less than 1 A when the device is put into standby mode. With a 0.1 F bypass capacitor, the TPS 79118 exhibits output voltage noise of around 15 VRMS.
