ST7538QTR Description


System monitor IC ST7538QTR from STMicroelectronics is intended for high-accuracy power supply voltage monitoring in industrial and automotive systems. It is a small, low-voltage device with an operational temperature range of -40°C to +125°C that can resist challenging operating conditions. When the voltage goes below a preset threshold level, the ST7538QTR checks the supply voltage and sends out an output reset signal to make sure that linked microcontrollers and other digital circuits are safely and securely switched off. The device includes a 2.63V internal reference voltage, as well as choices for different combinations of thresholds and hysteresis to fulfill varied application requirements. It also allows programmable time delay using an external capacitor. The ST7538QTR is appropriate for space-constrained automotive applications including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Engine Management Systems, Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication, and other safety-critical systems since it is offered in a tiny and space-saving QFN16 package.
