The MCF5235CVM150 microcontroller is from the ColdFire V2 MCF523X series ColdFire V2 Integrated Microprocessor combines the popular ColdFire V2 core with a 16-channel enhanced time processing unit (eTPU), a 10/100Mbps Ethernet MAC and other communications peripherals along with hardware-accelerated encryption. The mix of functionality in the MCF523x family addresses increased application complexity requiring more system throughput as well as networked applications that require a high level of security. Providing up to 144 (Dhrystone 2.1) MIPS at 150MHz, this controller enables networked and stand-alone complex real-time control applications such as industrial control, manufacturing equipment and robotics.
