MC9S08FL8CLC              Description

 

The MC9S08FL16 series uses ICS module as the clock source. The ICS module can use internal or external clock sources as a reference to provide CPU clocks up to 20 MHz. The output of the ICS module includes the OSCOUT-XOSC output that provides an external reference clock to the ADC. The ICSFFCLK-ICS fixed frequency clock reference (about 32.768 KHz) provides double fixed lock signals for TPM and MTIM16. The ICSOUT-ICS CPU clock provides twice as much bus clock as the base clock of the peripheral. The ICSLCLK- standby BDC clock provides a debug signal to the BDC module. The TCLK pin is an additional external clock source. When TCLK is enabled, a backup clock source can be provided for TPM and MTIM16. The 1 kHz clock on chip provides the clock source for the COP module.
