LTC6655BHLS8-5#PBF Description


A full series of precision bandgap voltage references with outstanding noise and drift characteristics are the LTC6655BHLS8-5#PBF. For the high resolution measurements needed by instruments and test equipment, this low noise and drift are excellent. The LTC6655BHLS8-5#PBF is also completely defined for the -40°C to 125°C temperature range, guaranteeing its applicability for severe automotive and industrial applications. This bandgap reference may produce an output voltage accurate to ±0.025%, a temperature characteristic that is predictable, and a drift of less than 2ppm/°C, which reduces or eliminates the requirement for calibration.

The noise reduction pin on the LTC6655BHLS8-5#PBF Low Noise allows for the reduction of wideband noise with the addition of a single capacitor.

The LTC6655BHLS8-5#PBF can be powered from as little as 500mV to as much as 13.2V over the output voltage. Consistent performance under a variety of operating conditions is ensured by outstanding line rejection combined with superior load regulation with source and sink capability. For low power applications, a shutdown mode is included.

Both an 8-lead LS8 package and an 8-lead MSOP packaging are available for the LTC6655BHLS8-5#PBF references. Outstanding stability is offered by the LS8, a 5mm × 5mm surface mount hermetic package.
