L7805ACV Description
L7805ACV is a positive voltage regulator ICs. This regulator can provide local on-card regulation, avoiding the distribution issues of single-point regulation. Due to internal current limiting, thermal shutdown, and safe area protection, it is virtually unbreakable. It can deliver more than 1A output current if suitable heat sinking is given. Despite being built primarily as a fixed voltage regulator, the L7805ACV can be used in conjunction with external components to provide adjustable voltages and currents.
