A monolithic CMOS analog multiplexer with outstanding performance is the ADG408BRUZ from Analog Devices Inc. To switch or route analog signals, it has eight individually configurable channels. The ADG408BRUZ is perfect for battery-powered applications due to its low on-resistance and low power consumption. Additionally, it has a broad supply voltage range and a temperature operating range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius.
Since the ADG408BRUZ is offered in a small 16-lead TSSOP package, small form factor designs can easily incorporate it. Additionally, it has a break-before-make switching mechanism that guarantees only one channel is ever connected at once, preventing signal deterioration or interference.
