Converts a USB port to an RS232 serial port.

Designed with FTDI’s FT232R Full-Speed USB device the module can enable connecting legacy RS232 peripherals to your PC USB port at data rates up to 3Mbps.

The module is powered from the host USB port.

Full modem control lines are provided – TXD, RXD, RTS, CTS, DTR, DSR, DCD, RI, GND

Indicator LEDs are included to show data transfer and power status

The product works with the royalty free FTDI drivers for Windows, MAC OSX, Linux, Android.

The USB-COM232-PLUS1 is fully RoHS compliant and is CE, FCC and UKCA approved.

Operating temperature range -40oC to +85oC.
