TPS77233DGKG4 Description

A low-dropout regulator with an integrated power-on reset and power good (PG) function is the TPS77233DGKG4. With a 115 mV dropout, this device can deliver 150 mA of output current. Quiescent current is 92 A at maximum load and drops to 1 A when the gadget is turned off. These devices are designed to operate reliably with a variety of output capacitors, including tantalum capacitors with low capacitance (1 μF) and ceramic capacitors with low ESR (10 F). These devices operate at extremely low noise levels (55 Vrms) without the addition of any filter capacitors. The TPS77233DGKG4 is made to respond quickly to transient changes in load current that are greater in magnitude.

The TPS77233DGKG4 is available in fixed-voltage versions at 1.5 V, 1.8 V, 2.7 V, 2.8 V, 3.3 V, and 5.0 V as well as an adjustable version (programmable between 1.5 V and 5.5 V). Over a range of line, load, and temperature conditions, output voltage tolerance is 2%. 8-pin MSOP (DGK) packaging for the TPS77233DGKG4 is available.
