TPS72516DCQRG4 belongs to the family of 1-A low-dropout (LDO) linear regulators featuring fixed voltage options available that are commonly used to power the latest DSPs, FPGAs, and microcontrollers. The output transient performance can be tailored to meet the customers' needs. As a result, it is able to deliver a stand-alone power supply solution or a post regulator for a switch mode power supply compared to other regulators providing the same output current.
