TLC5940NT Description
The TLC5940NT is a constant-current sink LED driver with 16 channels. Each channel contains a 4096-step grayscale PWM brightness control and a 64-step constant-current sink that may be adjusted individually (dot correction). The dot correction compensates for brightness differences across LED channels and LED drivers. An inbuilt EEPROM stores the dot correction data. A serial interface is used for both grayscale control and dot correction. The maximum current value of all 16 channels is set by a single external resistor.
