STLQ015M18R Description


With an input voltage range of 1.5 V to 5.5 V and a typical dropout voltage of 112 mV, the STLQ015 can deliver a maximum current of 150 mA. This device's quiescent current, which is only 1.4 A at maximum output current, is its distinguishing characteristic. With a ceramic capacitor on the output, the gadget is steady. It provides extremely little quiescent current and increases the battery life of applications needing a lot of standby time. The STLQ015 is placed in shutdown mode by the enable logic control function, which lowers overall current usage to 1 nA. Thermal protection and short-circuit constant-current limiting are also features of the gadget. Typical uses include the power supply for microcontrollers, electronic sensors, and battery-operated portable equipment.
