The Isocom Components Optoisolator - Transistor, Photovoltaic Output PS2502-4SM is an ideal choice for applications requiring high-speed data communications with surge protection. It offers low-cost isolation with a voltage rating of 5300 Vrms, making it suitable for use with many motor and solenoid drives, inverters, and microcontroller designs. It features 40 V source and sink currents of up to 5 W and a low thermal resistance of 63°C/W for efficient designs. The PS2502-4SM also features an integrated photodarlington system that allows it to be easily integrated into a wide range of board designs. The package of this optoisolator is a surface mount that can easily be mounted onto PCBs and other semiconductor components, resulting in reduced board space and improved reliability. It makes the ideal choice for a variety of applications that require electrical isolation and data speeds up to 1 Mbit/s.
