PL-USB2-BLASTER Description


The PL-USB2-BLASTER is a USB-Blaster download cable. This cable interfaces a USB port on a host computer to FPGA mounted on a printed circuit board. The Intel® FPGA Download Cable connects an FPGA placed on a printed circuit board to a USB port on a host computer. The connection transmits configuration information from the host computer to an FPGA's standard 10-pin interface. The Intel FPGA Download Cable can be used to program data into a system during production or to iteratively download configuration data to a system during prototyping.



PL-USB2-BLASTER Features


  • It can perform ISP of EPC2, EPC4, EPC8, EPC16, EPCS1, EPCS4, EPCS16, EPCS64 and EPCS128 devices

  • Perform SignalTap II logic analysis

  • Supports the joint test action group (JTAG), passive serial programming and active serial modes

  • Requires 5.0V from the USB cable and between 1.5V and 5.0V from the target circuit board
