NCV887301D1R2G developed by ON Semiconductor is a type of adjustable output non?synchronous boost controller driving an external N?channel MOSFET. Internal slope compensation enables it to use peak current mode control. It is characterized by low quiescent current sleep mode and externally?synchronizable switching frequency. Moreover, it is able to provide a suite of protection functions when operating, including internally?set soft?start, under-voltage lockout, cycle?by?cycle current limiting, and thermal shutdown.
