Internal slope compensation enables it to use peak current mode control. It is characterized by low quiescent current sleep mode and externally?synchronizable switching frequency. Moreover, it is able to provide a suite of protection functions when operating, including internally?set soft?start, under-voltage lockout, cycle?by?cycle current limiting, and thermal shutdown.
