The NCP571 fixed low dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator is designed for applications requiring voltage rails of 1.2 V or less. This LDO is ideal for handheld communication equipment and portable battery powered applications, which require low quiescent current as the NCP571 series features an ultra low quiescent current of 4.0 uA. The device incorporates both current limit and over temperature protection circuits. The NCP571 has been designed to be used with low cost ceramic capacitors and requires a minimum output capacitor of 0.1 uF. The device is housed in either a TSOP 5 or 2x2.2mm DFN package. Standard voltage versions are 0.8 V, 0.9V, 1.0 V, and 1.2 V. Other voltage options may be available on demand.
