MSP430FR599x microcontrollers (MCU) take low power consumption and performance to a new level through a unique low power accelerator (LEA) for digital signal processing. The accelerator has 40 times the performance of ARM Cortex - M0+MCU and helps developers process data efficiently using complex functions such as FFT, FIR, and matrix multiplication. This can be achieved using the free optimized DSP library, which does not require DSP expertise. In addition, with unified memory and FRAM up to 256KB, these devices provide more space for advanced applications and flexibility to easily implement wireless firmware updates.
