MC36245 Overview

A Radial package is used to protect the PTC thermistors from damage. In order to operate the PTC thermistors correctly, the minimum operating temperature should be set to -40°C. It is necessary to keep the operating temperature of this thermistor below 85°C to ensure proper operation. When operating, the PTC thermistors provide 16V voltage. The thermistors have been rated for a voltage of 16V in the DC circuit. It is recommended that PTC thermistors produce 300mW heat.
