MC36213 Overview
To prevent damage to the PTC thermistors, they are packaged in SMD/SMT packages. PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape as a safety measure. Temperature -40°C is the minimum operating temperature for PTC thermistors. This thermistor must not operate above 85°C in order for it to work. A PTC thermistor could provide 6V voltage when operating. When this thermistor is functioning, it can provide 6V. thermistors have been rated for 6V in DC circuits. It is not recommended that PTC thermistors operate above 100A current. A DC circuit shouldn't exceed 6V with this thermistor.
