MC36205 Overview


Into SMD/SMT packages, PTC thermistors are put to prevent damage. In order to ensure the safety of these PTC thermistors, they are packaged in Cut Tape. Setting the minimum operating temperature of PTC thermistors to -40°C is recommended. If this thermistor is to work correctly, it must operate at 85°C. While operating, the PTC thermistors could output 60V voltage. This thermistor can supply 60V nominally when in operation. A DC circuit uses 60V to rate these thermistors. PTC thermistors should not have a higher current than 10A. For reliable performance, this thermistor should supply 0 volts. This thermistor should not provide voltages higher than 60V in a DC circuit. For DC circuits, these thermistors can handle voltages up to 60V.
