MC36187 Overview


Keeping PTC thermistors in Radial packages prevents them from being damaged. Ensure that the PTC thermistors are set to -40°C as their minimum operating temperature. In order for this thermistor to work properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 85°C. When operating, PTC thermistors could deliver a voltage of 60V. The DC circuit uses thermistors with a 60V voltage rating. A PTC thermistor should produce 410mW heat.
