The Stellaris family's effective performance and wide integration enable the device to be advantageously positioned for applications demanding strong control-processing and connection capabilities while yet being cost-conscious. The Stellaris LM3S2000 series, created for Controller Area Network (CAN) applications, adds Bosch CAN networking technology, the industry standard for short-haul industrial networks, to the Stellaris family. The groundbreaking Cortex-M3 processor is initially integrated with CAN capabilities in the Stellaris LM3S2000 series.
