EP2C20Q240C8N developed by Intel is a type of  Cyclone II FPGA. Based on TSMC's 90-nm low-k dielectric process, it is manufactured on 300-mm wafers to achieve rapid availability and low cost. Complex digital systems is supported on a single chip at a cost that rivals that of ASICs by minimizing silicon area. Compared with 90-nm FPGAs, it is able to deliver 60% higher performance and half the power consumption. Its specific characteristics make it well-suited for a wide range of applications, including automotive, consumer, communications, video processing, test and measurement, and more.
