CAT6221-JLTD-GT3 Description


The 300 mA CMOS Dual LDO CAT6221 combines two low dropout regulators (LDO), each with its own enable pin, in a single TSOT23 6 lead device. The regulator outputs can support 300 mA of load current. The dual LDO is built to respond quickly to variations in line voltage and load current. Each LDO is calibrated for maximum crosstalk isolation and low noise. The dual LDO is perfect for battery-operated devices with supply voltage ranging from 2.3 V to 5.5 V because it has zero shut-down current and a low quiescent current of 100 A.

The dual LDO provides 1% initial accuracy and an average 210 mV dropout voltage at 300 mA. Small 1 F ceramic output capacitors offer stable operation while requiring less board space and component money. Thermal protection and the fold-back current limit are further features. A 6 lead TSOT23 package with a maximum height of 0.8 mm is offered for the dual LDO.
