ADP667AR-REEL Description
A precision voltage regulator with a low dropout rate that can deliver up to 250 mA of output current is the ADP667. With just two external resistors, it can be used to vary the output from +1.3 V to +16 V or to provide a fixed +5 V output. Through the SET input, fixed or adjustable operation is automatically chosen. The standby or shutdown mode (0.2 A) and low quiescent current (20 A) make this device particularly suitable for battery-powered systems. When delivering 100 A, the dropout voltage is only 5 mV, enabling operation with less headroom and extending the battery's useful life.
