Analog MicroElectronics Inc., which was formed in 1996 in Silicon Valley, California, was AME's forerunner. The team comprised numerous great engineers with over 10 years of experience in Silicon Valley at the start of the company to set up comprehensive and unique power analog management IP, as well as lay the foundations for product stability, dependability, and competitiveness. On November 30th, 2000, Analog MicroElectronics Inc. amalgamated with its Taiwan affiliate, AME, Inc.
